Obviously we play as team and everyone should get credit, but no tonight, this man single handedly tonight was the difference between us having the smallest chance in the second leg, absolute class, every player in the changing rooms should be thanking him after tonight.

Posted this in the other Given thread but that seems to have died so i'll post it here as well:

If one player is gonna win us the UEFA Cup, it will be this man. He will go on to be Hughes' greatest ever signing. Kept us in the UEFA Cup at Aalborg and kept us in the tie tonight.

was class. shame the rest of the team didnt turn up. he did very well keeping it under 4 or 5 in the 1st half. afraid to say that the tie is over after the 3rd goal though. all we needed to do at 2-1 was keep it tight! they will score at our place as we cannot, STILL defend so cannot see how we will get through. euro dream over...and where does that leave us!?!? mid table prem without europe! bad start to whatever reign is supposed to be happening.

depressing!!!!
