I thought VVD was a freak defender one of those once in a decade brilliant defender(and he is) but Dias is also ridiculous. Stones gets a lot of credit and rightly so but Dias has a lot to do with that through his calmness and strength. The type of player that could win us the CLThe impact Dias has had on our defence cannot be mentioned enough. He is a born leader and communicator. He is constantly instructing others where to go, pulling them into position, organising. Like Kompany did he improves everyone around him. He also hates losing and conceding a goal, he takes it as personal.

I’d have Walker in our team and squad over every other RB in the League.. name another from another PL who would do better?Lay off Kyle.
He has scored a few for us and cleared off the line when all looked lost.
Ok, he has the occasional lapse, but he always does his best and you can't ask for more than that.

Cut was caused by Sheffield United players tooth I thinkThat write-up really dramatises a routine collision. It wasn't "scary" watching it and the cut on Foden's face wasn't "scary". I think football in this country has some improving to do on things like concussion, but this was about as routine as it gets.

Not so much fear-mongering as lobbying on behalf of certain clubs I would have thought.

FIFA have temporarily changed the rules on releasing players for international.
If they travel to a country that enforces isolation then the club doesn’t have to release the player.
I assume that’s the same if a player has to isolate on return to the country in which he plays.
We have won 12 games in a row in all compets, a club record, without Kompany, Silva and Aguero, with covid and injury problems, and with our forwards not in their best form currently. Amaizing! Hopefully a sinn we can do well without some of our biggest legends.
Ferna had a decent game but Rodri is more composed, reliable and quicker on the pass, we have a better rhythm in our play with Rodri. It's great though that Ferna can still contribute at 35 and help us keep the team fresh.
The best part is that Pep made 5 changes from the game vs WBA, despite KDB and Aguero and Ake being unavailable, and we still won. At the same time United and Liverpool barely rotate. Even if Liverpool manage to string several wins in a row, their current efforts to turn things around will probably cost them come April and May.

So you're not wrong, but I think the record being spoken of here has been classified as wins within 90 minutes.As discussed in detail at the time, the win on penalties v Wolves is classified as a ‘Win’. This was confirmed by the FA, And IFAB at the time.
