We saw what happened at Cheltenham with a load of changes but I guess at least these are experienced pros. Sometimes it all clicks and we are flowing, then he changes it and we lose our rhythm again. I hope we win 6-0 and I wonder what I was worryingly about.

We have to be at full strength for the Dippers next sunday so it makes sense to rotate today, just wait until we play Burnley and Pep rests Dias, Foden, Gundo and Zinch and replaces them with Mendy, Mahrez, Rodri and Garcia

Also Stones has notoriously not been able to stay fit enough to get a run in the side in recent years. There’s an element of not wanting to push our luck with his body too that I think needs to be considered. How long do we want to blindly hope he can play twice per week before we consider resting him. An injury would inevitably have happened.

it’s not just that though. This is a really strong side.
Torres in for the out of form sterling.
Foden playing.
Laporte was our best defender on paper at the start of the season.
The midfield is the strongest available (Fernandinho in better form than rodri)

the idea that we have made changes and underestimated Sheffield United is absolute poppycock.
