Yes it is. Laporte is soft defender with passing qualities. Everything else is average.

Rubbish , our best defender when he has been fit over the last three seasons , and his injury last season had a big influence on our failed title defence.

Despite Jesus starting I expect it to be a similar false 9 set up to what we've seen in the last few games. So maybe be prepared to see Jesus in the centre circle and Fernandinho up front or something.

Pep has his ideal players and formations. Ferran and Laporte are the ones.
Johns ideal form was his card for first 11. Laporte gets this card with average appearances. We will win this game and then he stays in pair with Dias. Then comes Liverpool or some stronger side who will pass easily our slow and ‚only good at passing‘ Laporte.
