Or he could have underperformed in training and Laporte could have been better? Or Laporte is gonna be needed next month with fixtures pilling up so now would be a good time to get some game time. Or Stones could just need a rest. Who knows but Laporte is more than good enough

Full of utter drama queens on here today. If he had played stones and cancelo and they would have got injured then the very same know it all muppets would be crying about that as well. We’ve got to rotate otherwise we turn into the dippers and burn all our best players out. Beautifully balanced team today. So long as it’s a balanced and fluid formation we could play any of our squad and it’d work
