That is an argument. OK. Hope that ends with this game. Laporte is not on Johns level after the injury and he should stay as backup player. We had very weak Defence last year with him on the pitch.

Think they played together against spurs then Laporte was dropped? But yeah he can’t regain form or prove himself from the bench
 
Most of us wanted the same team as West Brom but we have to be realistic and rotate for games like today. Win and it will be great management, lose and pep will be an idiot for making so many changes.
 
As ever, a really strong side and should be more than good enough. Gabby will bag today.
 
If we struggle defensively today it'll be due to far larger issues than Laporte playing. It's Sheffield United we're playing remember.

Remember when Laporte was our best defender and Stones wasn’t near his level? Maybe Laporte can turn it around. Back him
