Also will be galvanised by beating the shite, and the chance of taking the scalps of the two Manchester clubs will be a big carrot! Football often works this way. However, Sheffield United did us a favour beating the rags in more ways than one.

Not only was it a gift wrapped result for obvious reasons it will eradicate any form of complacency for us.

Argh! Had the 'pleasure' of being at both of those games. We should have been about 8:0 up against Bolton before their goal. In truth, if we were still playing that game against Bolton today we probably still wouldn't have scored though!
The Middlesbrough game ,my abiding memory (apart from the own goal ofcourse)was a pen not being given when their thuggish fullback Danny Mills virtually rugby tackling Wanchope in the area!

I wasn't doubting they could get a result against us. I just was lamenting the absence of brilliance. To not see anyone I thought was worth mentioning. :(

Perhaps the guys who were out...

Fair enough , brilliance doesn't keep you up , points do say 33-34 points this year should be enough ( maybe a tad generous unless Fulham get some decent results against top ten teams in the second half of the season ).

They generally make us earn our victories but again I hope for a comfortable win and naturally if we play to the level we have been since Southampton it will be.

I wouldn't put it past Pep to play both of them at some stage, with Cancelo in midfield, especially as he pretty much plays there when at RB. There's also not much room for rotation with De-Bruyne out.

The more I think about it the more I'd go with our 'second' team for this one. Two big games next week with burnley away and liverpool, whereas we should be coasting through this one.

Any other black players you want to call lazy mate? I don't watch the rags so don't know about Martial but don't really see the evidence of Mendy being lazy as you say. If you said he's playing crap at the moment that might be nearer the mark.

Neither player tracks back fast enough after losing possession. No idea why you mentioned their colour. Danny Mills when at City is the only other player I can recall with the same trait.
