Sheffield Wednesday on the brink… | Enter administration (p30)

On the bright side you might end up on the coaching staff at this rate.
Then we really would be in trouble!!! ;)
My Brother in Law has a season ticket for the North Stand, he hasn't a clue where he'll be relocated to. It's a mess.
The thing is if it's the kop ST's there are cheaper so does he get a partial refund? If it's the South Stand (main stand) ST's there are more expensive, so does he ask for more or refund people already in there who's paid more than relocated fans.

We know that nobody is getting any money back as he doesn't have it, be insteresting if the 7k ST holders from the north request a refund as they've not got the seats/view/product (whatever that is :) that they purchased.

Out of all of this absolute carnage (and as I've touched there's more to come as I don't believe we've bottomed out yet) if it means it removes Chancer from the club I'm all for it.

I've said for years I can accept being rubbish on the pitch, but I want us to have structure off of it, a plan with people in place who A) Now how to deliver this, and B) Now how to run a football club.

If you have that then results on the pitch will follow.

<googles season ticket prices at Hallam FC>

:)

I simply do not get his logic ?????
Whatever groups where interested and whatever money he was gonna get will continue to drop rapidly as the season goes on if they are to drop.

Give it a few months and no doubt the bastard will be done and dusted sadly he will have caused a lot of damage by then

Today's Sh*tstorm

Players look they won't be paid on time for July, they are potentially looking at strike action Vs Leicester City on opening weekend:

Does this twat actually attend games at Hillsborough?, if so how about building a giant Wicker man at the first game of season at Hillsborough Park escort him to it and charge people £5 to watch and all proceeds go to Sheffield children’s hospital?. If you’re reading Keith Starmer and think it’s incitement it’s a joke, the first bit isn’t he’s a complete twat.

Good luck to all Wednesday fans hope he departs before any more damage is done.

He probably isn't, but you'd get the impression that he's deliberately trying to force the club out of business. If he was to have an unexpected change of heart, and decided to sell, are there any potential buyers waiting to step in? Excuse my ignorance, I haven't been following the story as closely as I maybe should have.

Who is going to come in and prop the club up with £10-15m a season to stand still and cover operating loses? Even if given away.

It would need to be someone so rich they didn't miss it, and the location and stadium don't help, due to distance from the city and age.

Sheffield Wednesday u21s are due to play Scarborough on Friday night.

They are banking on that game being on to get some funds into the club.

It’s Scarborough first pre season home match due to issues with the artificial pitch that needs addressing. Having to play at Bridlington until further notice whilst the local authority sort the community use pitch problem out.

They're up shit creek in a barbed wire canoe without a paddle if they're relying on funds from an U-21 friendly.

Have they played any pre-season games?
We've played 2 "training exercise" games, 1 Vs York City and the other Vs Mansfield Town. Both have been behind closed doors. Fans didn't know about the York game until it had happened, we are getting very little/nothing from the club.

There were, but as you are dealing with a basket case talks of a takeover have gone very quiet. Which could be down to him still wanting a hundredmillionsquillion pounds, or they are waiting for him to crash the price even more and come in and pick up for a bargain.

If I was a potential buyer that's what I'd be looking at, why give him "X" when you can wait and pick it up for "Y"

Let me finish my breakfast before you start with today's sh*tstorm :)

Far too much went on yesterday to even post about it.

Why is no one asking questions about the governance of the EFL? Yet again they have allowed a cowboy operator to destroy one of our great football clubs. Why is no one asking Rick Parry questions about why the EFL has failed again. All the stories are targeted on the club and its owner. They are presumably being fed by media leaks. It looks like a lot of deflection tactics are being used by the EFL. Perhaps the EFL should do more to prevent these fiascos instead of focussing on grabbing more cash from the PL.

So sad to see this happen to a great club. I used to go and watch them home and away with a good mate who was a fanatic Owl. Their away following was probably the strongest I've seen. I remember him getting excited about an away cup tie at Chester and we were on the terraces near the dug out. He shouted 'encouragement' to Lee Chapman as he ran on. Chapman just turned and gave a look that said 'I wish I was on a beach somewhere'. Think it finished 1-1.
