Yes, would make sense, loads of space. They could knock the Lepping Lane End down and rebuild the corners to increase capacity.

I didn’t want to put a list of every intense rivalry. I’d still be writing it. I just included a few famous examples. You forgot burnley Blackburn, trust me living in Burnley it’s serious hatred between both clubs
Why they haven't knocked that down years ago and rebuilt it, is pretty scandalous in itself. They could knock the Lepping Lane End down and rebuild the corners to increase capacity.
I always thought they should have relocated in the interim to the now demolished Din Valley stadium. Hillsborough would be a good housing site with a fitting memorial area to the disaster in my view. Why they haven't knocked that down years ago and rebuilt it, is pretty scandalous in itself.
The Din Valley stadium was always a bit noisy in my opinion.I always thought they should have relocated in the interim to the now demolished Din Valley stadium. Hillsborough would be a good housing site with a fitting memorial area to the disaster in my view.

There was nothing wrong with the stand. The issue was the fencing so why spend all that money building something that wasn’t needed? Why they haven't knocked that down years ago and rebuilt it, is pretty scandalous in itself.
Don Valley was far too small for Wednesday, and I'm not sure it could have been extended sufficiently.I always thought they should have relocated in the interim to the now demolished Din Valley stadium. It’s terribly dated, and cramped with narrow gangways and seating, a bit like at Old Trafford. There was nothing wrong with the stand. The issue was the fencing so why spend all that money building something that wasn’t needed?
Yes it is now I meant at the time and post Hillsborough ReportIt’s terribly dated, and cramped with narrow gangways and seating, a bit like at Old Trafford.
What took you to Belfast on Saturday ? Lolbumped into a drinking sheff wednesday 'lad' in belfast on saturday.
He was with a few geordie fans that a friend had befrended.
Same age as me, but reeling off Sheff Wendy games in 93/94 and attendances when he'd be 4/5 years old or talking about the two firms meeting each other.
He geniunely believed sheffield wednesday are bigger than city on both fronts.. he got quite angry tbh, even more so with another friend reading him the riot act.
He ended up on our flight home, and was quiet as a mouse.

The way Blackburn is going, they will penny pinch themselves out of existence within ten years.I didn’t want to put a list of every intense rivalry. I’d still be writing it. I just included a few famous examples.
I know how much Blackburn and Burnley hate each other. Same goes for Exeter and Plymouth.
I could go on and on…
Gave Billy Connolly material for one of his funniest stories. And some argument in Glasgow.
Blackburn will be fucked if the hated Venkys stopped funding the club. The way Blackburn is going, they will penny pinch themselves out of existence within ten years.
Blackburn will be fucked if the hated Venkys stopped funding the club.
Some fans believe Venkys to be the problem. Damned if they do, damned if they don't there.Blackburn will be fucked if the hated Venkys stopped funding the club.
Some fans believe Venkys to be the problem. Dawned if they do, dawned if they don't there.
