Got time for both clubs. Barnsley is our other home stadium and friends who support Wednesday.

This feels illogical with my Mum coming from nearer to Barnsley than Sheffield and her Dad (my Grandad) being told he was too small by Sheffield Wednesday (as was Jamie Vardy decades later) but I lived in Sheff for twenty odd years and have several mates who are Wednesdayites.

So, with a heavy heart (sorry Mum!) come on Wednesday hope my friends in Sheff and @West Yorks Owl are all celebrating promotion by the end.

Wednesday need this promotion. Barnsley don't. They can win it automatically next season.

I don’t have a dog in this race but have always found Wednesday and fans a bit anal. Also big Mick McCarthy is a legend not only for being a former City captain but also for putting pound shop hardman Roy Keane firmly in his place.
