Yeah that was part of what I was alluding to on the money issue. Didn't realise there was a similar problem at Lincoln though. I think he's still held in quite high regard around here. Imps are about as high a level as they can sustain without a rich owner coming in. The Owls are a bigger beast altogether. Huddersfield on Saturday and the return of Big Darren. Lincoln wouldn’t part with anymore money once we made League One and we needed to find other ways to invest and sustain the squad. Huddersfield wouldn’t dip into their pockets, and I can’t see Wednesday’s owner doing the same.

It was quite common knowledge that he wanted more players but our chairman didn’t want to invest for a third or fourth straight season. Lincoln had come from the brink of administration again to managing to function again, and Clive Nates has done a lot to contribute to grow the club to its healthiest position since the 70s. He was the assitant to Hansi Flick @ Bayern & German national team and Ralp Hassenhutl @ Southampton. He has only ever been an assistant though, never a manager.

Today's game was like 2 drunks having a fight, thing is though we played a lot better proving we were absolutely bloody terrible under Xisco Munoz.
Out problem is we won't/don't score enough goals.
We played there on the final day in 93-94 and Rosler scored in a 1-1 draw. The Leppings Lane was full and I was in the stand to the left of the city fans and there were loads of us in the end block.In any event, thoughts of a German taking the reigns at Hillsborough makes me think back to the days of Uve Rosier.. when City went to Sheffield for the last match of the season ,two years on the bounce
And the whole of the Leppings Lane away end, upstairs and down was a sea of sky blue and we roared " Uve Uve Rosier " All match long.
