What happens if in a few years the unthinkable happens and Sheikh Mansour decides he's had enough and wants out?

Is it just a case of him selling the club pure and simple or is a Leeds situation a possibility?

I'm not sure either, but it does mean that if our owner sold up, there'd be no on-going debt attached to the club - at least that's my understanding.

Even if the Sheikh were to leave at some point, we wouldn't be in the shits, as by then most likely, the majority of the project would've been complete. Anyway, we have major finance suppliers in our sponsors: Umbro, Etihad, Etisalat and Ferrostaal. And by the time we become a true world force, we'll be able to finance ourselves based on ticket and merchandise sales probably. But of course, it would be nice if he didnt leave full stop.

he would leave us debt free...............but do you honestly believe that after spending Billions building up the reputation of Abu Dhabi they would do anything that would harm their reputation.........

my guess is that he would make us as close to profit making as possible.......then would leave us a significant trust fund to continue on our own.............

the Emirati people are honourable people, everything they said they would do they have done so...........
