Sheikh Mansour's New Yacht

Friend of a friend works on one of abramovich’s yachts, (he’s a tech’y) his most important job is to ensure every Chelsea game is screened to almost the exact second, apparently has several links/screens running at the same time, not sure if that’s still the case given the sale, think he’s been in Turkey a lot since the war

I heard about that yeah, he has a private camera crew at every game, or at least some that are not televised, i assume early league cup games etc. I did think i wonder which lucky buggers get to do the tech stuff for that.
I would ask your mate stuff until he keeled over and died of boredom hehe.

He offered to get my mate a job….who’s missus turned it down for him, they’re both scousers so there may be an opening in the not to distant future :) yeah I was always trying to get snippets out of him, not the tech stuff mind, as they say, the walls have ears, a very interesting job in strange times

About ten years ago I did some work on Usmanov's previous MY Dilbar when it was based in Antibes. It was amazing and the private quarters very opulent. There were holders for his collection of Faberge eggs which he carts around with him.

The female crew members could have stepped straight from the pages of Vogue but it did not seem to be a happy ship as the owner was a miserable git and everyone was scared that he would find fault as he was inclined to do.

There was lots of leisure equipment like jetskis and scuba gear that had never been used but had to be maintained.

Eveyone wanted to work on Larry Ellison's (Oracle founder) boat which was moored nearby. When he arrived he just wanted everyone - including the crew - to have a good time.

One of the more interesting jobs I have worked on - certainly beat the next one which was doing stuff for an insurance company in Basingstoke.
