This is their way of avoiding European laws on employment and the like.

so yes..you can opt out of the CL. no one has cos of the money...but if the riches were richer elsewhere...ho hum.

No, Sam that argument is a horse that won't run. UEFA is not acting as a governing body in the case of the CL because it sells the TV rights and therefore a "competing party" and is distorting competition if it claims that entrants must be "invited" only if they obey anti-competitive financial rules, and then be richly rewarded for doing so.
