Do we have any regular readers of the Sunday Express ??
Just wondering how good a journalist is John Richardson,or is he another "lazy one who uses our threads" ???????????????
Be interesting to hear.
However I thought that we,d already heard from our Masters, that in future NO statements of any kind would be released, about any subject, until such time anything was concrete ??
Can,t see our Club going down the same route again, of NOT making a Manager aware that he was due for the chop before he knew it,AKA Mark Hughes scenario !!!

Richardson was on the Channel M City debate show a couple of times with Jimmy Wagg because he's supposedly a Blue. Has had a go at us on Sunday Supplement, however - but then read what some Blues say on here!<br /><br />-- Sun Mar 21, 2010 6:33 am --<br /><br />By the way, NotW today goes with Mourinho being keen in Liverpool (with City and Real possible alternatives). They reckon him going to Anfield is possible only if the American owners are bought out: http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/761290/MOURINHO-THANKS-BUT-NO-YANKS.html.

Sunday Mirror has Mancini to Juve and claim he met their officials at Fulham on Thursday. Also has a "source close to Mancini" saying he'd find it hard to turn them down. Story here: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...t-Craven-Cottage-Exclusive-article362741.html.

Unfortunetly, i think Mourinho wants the scum job. I'd rather he didn't come here only to bail on us for the scum when Baconface dies. Besides, his football is bloody awful!

I do not want him at CITY - but I think that him wanting the scum job is a myth - in other circumstances yes - but he needs money - lots of it - and they do not have any - nor will they have any for years - he is not about working with the youth development over years

Apart from this thread there's another one on the board re' Mancini going on a spending spree in the summer, and i always wondered why coming on bluemoon was like falling down the rabbit hole with alice ! but i love it all the same, tune in next week folks for the latest episode of the soap opera that is man city !

Getting the chosen one would be the best thing that has happened to Man City in 35 years. The biggest problem with the "I don't want Marinho people" is you cannot see the big picture. Just think what the chosen would do for us as a club looking to become as big as Real Madrid, the Scum amd Inter etc. The impact it would make would be out of this world.

Trust in the Sheik peeps, Im sure he knows what he is doing! He didn't make a multi billion pound empire by thinking like you lot!

he gets results and wins trophys, he got them at Porto, he got them at Chelsea and he's getting them at Inter. If we can get him then we should, as for the type of football his team plays, I've always been a advocate of wanting to see good football and being entertained BUT I'd settle for three years of winning trophy's and being "bored". All I want is the 10 year old monkey which turned into a 20 year gorilla and which is threatening to turn into a 40 year old King Kong off our backs. Once we win our first trophy the rest will be easier to come by, and he offers our best chance of winning one!

Come on tell the truth

You just fancy him really

The story so far is If City get 4th, then Mourinho & Torres join with more money to spend & Mancini goes to Juve or Italy after doing Khaldoon a favour while using us as a stepping stone to his dream job.

Cant see a problem really, I think we have to pinch ourselves here, do you remember 10 years back what happens happens for a reason and I cannot believe we now have fans who wouldnt want class of Mourinho & Torres at our beloved club.

I just can't understand the anti Mourinho sentiments. This club is crying out for someone to come and build a team that can match Garry Cook's vision. For me, the only man that can do that is Jose.

He is one of the best managers in the world, can attract the top names, and knows what it takes to win in England and Europe. With all the cash at our disposal the most important signing we will ever make is the managerial one, and that means the special one.

To those saying give Mancini time, you miss the point. If Jose comes in the summer, then it was all planned from the moment Hughes got the boot. Mancini was only ever here for six months and he knew that - he practically said as much in his first press conference!

I agree with all of this.

However, the one slight niggle I have with Mourinho is that he'd probably get itchy feet after three years and set off to crack Spain. Don't get me wrong, three years of him is better than none, but I'd really, really, really like to see someone become our Wenger and build a proper long-term dynasty at City.

I'm behind Mancini right nowand beleive we should stick with him, but its nice to be linked with such great managers.

I don't like Mourinho, principally because of the way that the Chelsea players(did and as a result still do) and Inter players act like spoilt little brats whenever they don't get a decision, always harrassing the ref, acting like they're victimised and rolling around and cheating at every little thing.

Added to that Mourinho's self-centered ego when he acts like he's bigger than the club just shows he will be disrespectful to our club, tradition and history when he comes in. He's not "The Special One", he's just a very good manager. The day he learns some respect and humility I might look twice at him.
