Truthfully, still in a bit of disbelief over how poor the 3rd series turned out compared to the first two...Not sure if it was the long absence between 2 & 3 or just lazy writing but it has a decidedly different feel to how the series began...Shame, hope it rebounds for 4 & 5

It definately took a turn from the first two series and seemd to be more about Sherlocks charachter rather than an underlying plot throughout the series. I think they have used series 3 to try and set up series 4 by developing Sherlock and Johns charachters and adding a bit of personality to them. It certainly wasnt my favourite of the 3 series, but still a really good watch.

The first two episodes were entertaining rather than thrilling but the last one was brilliant. Looking forward to 4 and possibly 5 now!
