Tennis, golf, snooker all these are played in silence, football is almost played in silence ;)

A penalty in football and rival fans try to put the penalty taker off. Yet in snooker it would upset the snooker player to much. Or put a golfer off when hitting the ball.

Seems strange how some sports are silent and some are noisy

Darts players also seem to be able to manage to play with a bit of noise. Badminton players don't demand silence but tennis players do. I feel like it's mainly just sports that are a bit up themselves tbh.

in wazakstan there is a sport where the 2 opponents take it turn to thrash each other's balls with their erect penises (not unlike our game of conkers) until one of them concedes in pain by shouting the wazakstani for "sufficient" or one of them forfeits the game by losing their erection.

There is a similar sport in Dermany.
