Nobel prize winner and a man that did everything he possibly could to bring peace to the region.

RIP.

Achieved much, including a major contribution to the peace treaty with Jordan and the Oslo Accords, but unfortunately was unable to achieve the two state solution he wanted.

RIP

Qana, possibly the finest moment of this Nobel peace prize winner.

'The murderer of 106 sheltering refugees at Qana' should be this man's only epitaph.

Qana, possibly the finest moment of this Nobel peace prize winner.

Funny how you're both so quiet on Syria. I've checked and there's not a peep from either of you about the horrific acts there and the indiscriminate murder of civilians on a daily basis. But plenty about the evil Jews.

It was a war and Hezbollah were firing rockets within close proximity to the compound. Hezbollah fighters had also been seen entering the compound. Peres was Prime Minister at the time and had no more responsibility for Qana than Churchill had for every civilian bombing raid. In fact Peres had less, as civilian bombing in WW2 was a strategic choice whereas the shelling of Qana was a battlefield operation.

The dexterity of your whataboutary is a thing to marvel in.
