Does anyone like me think this guy has been signed because Park is coming to the ed and the Rags need to keep there Japanese fans happy.

Nope he is cheaper alternative to Hazard.

Hazard has only proved himself in France but didn't seem all that vs England. Might be a great player in premier next season but for 30 million when we got Silva at 24

We do need a winger and CB and sell some players i we are done. United will buy more than this lad

CB ?

i dont think so, enough cover there.

probably a striker and a winger, that will do.

defiantly not, he's quality

This. He's a great buy and a bargain imo.

Just finished watching Japan v Australia for the world cup qualifier. In a pretty rubbish game, with some terrible ref decisions, Kagawa looked good, really lively and most of their best play came through him. Honda looked good too.

yeah just watched the game myself I prefer Honda. Interesting the commentators noted that Kagawa defensive stats were quite average in Germany but of course he has a bit of creative wizardry to compensate.

Australia's "penalty" reminded me so much of this:

Yeah. Thought the penalty was just to even up the score after the red for milligan.

If Australia makes the world cup, they will only make up the numbers.

Was impressed by some of the passing for japan. Kagawa and Honda threatened throughout, they were always pressing and probing but the end product wasn't there. Both look like quality players. Also was surprised to hear about so many japanese players heading over to the bundesliga.

Japan made a free transfer agreement with the Bundesliga, so German clubs could scout any players in the Japanese market for almost a free transfer. Dortmund bought Kagawa from Cerezo Osaka for peanuts, and they weren't even in the first division in Japan.
