Shinji Kagawa

Hart of the matter said:
He has said himself that he has signed for United on television interview in Japan (Telegraph)

a twitter created yesterday said that. kagawa has denied speaking to any japanese press about his move and has said there will be no announcement till after the pokal

raphael honigstein (the guardian's german football person) has talked about this on his twitter and has linked to this http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...ooled-manchester-united-fans-and-the-media-ov explaining the whole thing

Perfectly suited to our league. Kagawa is special, he'll win that lot 10 points. If you didn't think it already, they'll be up there with us next season with this guy there. Unfortunately for us, signing of the summer right there.

Unless a few teams decide to actually try & beat them, like Wigan & Everton did.

That's a very bold statement considering the window hasn't even opened up yet...

Who really gives two hoots.

This signing is all about commercial fan base....ie replacing Park etc

Would be very happy to see utd picking up this level of player quality

This ticks both boxes though, Kagawa is a fantastic player who will get even better. The only question is how do United play him as he occupies a similar role as Rooney right now and isn't as good on the wings. United could push Rooney forward again but that in turn could freeze out Welbeck unless they play the three of them and start to rely less on wingers by playing only one of Young/Nani/Valencia (but has a Ferguson team ever not relied on wingers?).
