trying to stay away from the transfer forum, but I
Hi all. I purchased the new home shirt for my daughter, at the ground on Saturday. She wore it during and after the match and it's had a wash last night. I've pegged it out this morning and noticed that there are a couple of pullls in it. Now I don't know if it's my washer that has caused the pulls (i doubt it as it's never happened to any other clothes), or whether it's the quality of the shirt, as it's happened to one of her other nike city shirts.

Has anyone else had issues with the quality of the new shirt material?, either with pulls or anything else?.

It's just the shirt in general mate, last seasons was the same.... nike don't half use shit material for their sports shirts. I preferred the Umbro shirts personally.

My son's kit is fine - he's worn it quite a lot and it's been through several football training sessions and comes back covered in dirt each time and still looks good when washed (although it's still early days)

My issue is that the sizing is wrong - i got him the size larger for him to grow into a bit but it fits him perfectly now and i'd be surprised if it made it through to winter

When do parents start to realize it's smarter (and much cheaper) to buy their kids a simple City t-shirt instead of the homeshirt (or anything that is made of more delicate material). Although I've seen grown men wasting it by spilling beer and fast food ... whatever.

Hi, my wife of 40 years went on holiday with her sister and have a couple of questions,
1. What the best washing power to use,
2. What would the washing machine look like,
George from ASDA or Primary sell clothes so cheap (mainly because of child labour, cheap materials etc) that you can wear them twice & throw them away.
This should suffice to your wife returns.
(Are you certain it is her "sister" she is away with, AND that she will be returning home?)

I have a question; did a threesome happen?

Not a case of being smarter. I promised her the new shirt for her birthday, and would expect better quality given the branding and price.

So she didn't ask for it? ...
You're not sure if the quality is poor. That's the reason you appeared on here and made it a topic. Again, not very smart now is it.

One of my lad's friends had a dipper shirt and it has not come out of the wash in a good state.
It speaks volumes about the attitude of the shirt manufacturers with their products being cheaply made but with a high profit margin.

Cut down his meals for a year and you'll be fine ;)

Yes she did and I said I'd buy it for her. I raised the topic out of interest, to see if others had, had the same or similar issues with the shirt/shirts.

Why you want to pick an argument over it is beyond me, and a bit petty.

My daughters kit has done the same, its definitely not just yours.

Having had the kit every year since I can remember I went to get this years despite not being a fan of the design. All ten in the shop I looked at had pulls already, so I didn't bother. Picked up the polo shirt at ground on Saturday instead looks nicer, better quality and half the price!
