Shoe throwing in SS Level 1

What was all that about late on in 2nd half last night. Started with one shoe or trainer but then seemed to be a few thrown. And one or two thrown up to us on level 2. Nearly missed the Mahrez goal as everyone concentrating on the shoe chucking. Anyone know how and why it started ?

Those involved were hopping mad on the way home
