FFS......why do we persist with this constant passing the ball back and forth round the edge of the box until we eventually lose it. Someone have the balls (and ability) to have a shot at goal once in a while.

Our tactics have taken a nose dive. Its now, back pass, back pass, midfield left, back pass, midfield right...then lose the ball.

If you don't shoot you can't score.

Can't think of any time we had anything over 5 passes in attack. We look like utter shit for the past 5 games.

It wasn't pretty.

We didn't seem to know what our own players were doing, poor decision making in general, and one instance with De Jong and either Richards or Toure, the ball was in the middle of them and they just looked at each other and waited for Stoke to nip in and take the ball thank you very much.

Seems to be a lack of confidence by the players, lack of motivation by the management team, are the tactics too difficult for our players to grasp?, if it's not happening, give 'em the hair dryer treatment, just get the f***ing passion and belief back in there.

Sorensen didnt have a shot to save last night, just about sums it up, it's something they desperately need to work on in training. Having Carlos out doesn't help because i would imagine he is the one with most shots on target this season.

4 shots on target in the last 2 games according to the opta stats on sky text. that just simply isn't good enough IMO.
we had 65% possession last night but what did we have to show for it?

Aghh, isn't it just atrotious.

There were several half-decent goal scoring oppourtunities in the Stoke game last night, but they just passed and passed and passed, as though they wanted to pass the ball into the frikken net.

Was thinking this myself. Obviously you're less likely to score from long range than short range, but you're still more likely to score from long range than if you don't shoot! I wouldn't mind as much if there was an occasional penatrative pass into the area but there never is. Once in a while I'd like to see someone just ping it.. look at Whelan last night.
Is it because our midfield 3 just don't like to shoot? Or are they under instructions not to have a go from long range? Even SWP doesn't look like he wants to hit it.
