Shooting outside the House of Commons

Can't understand why the stabbed copper who was right on the front line outside parliament was not armed. Might have survived if he and his close colleague were armed.
I do find myself asking the same question and @Blumers Bloomers yes, one woman seemed to be rather enjoying it, i'll put it down to adrenaline but i would not bet against a few detached pricks whispering to others 'it is all very exciting isn't it' whilst security were telling them to keep put.

Not all Police in high risk target areas are armed. Airports for example

A horrible incident, and tragic for the families and friends of those who lost their lives today. These are pretty bleak and scary times we live in.

Found some of the media coverage today fairly depressing too. The need for click bait and immediacy saw photos of the victims being published before families were informed, and also news outlets falsely reporting the name of the perpetrator. Then you have Tommy Robinson being interviewed. And don't get me started on that prick with the selfie stick. Not technically media coverage I know, but distasteful stuff nonetheless.
