Shooting / Rioting in Paris

I get the family are in bits but leaving it till many businesses and peoples cars were burned out and businesses louted and nothing left putting them out of business over what four nights , they could have asked people to stop after night one
And they’d all have listened.

It kicked off about 300m from a friends' home.
There were at least 5 explosions in that area.
So whoever was responsible isn't going to stop after a day if someone asks them nicely!
Acts of terrorism camouflaged by rioting and looting mayhem is my guess.
How is it terrorism if nobody knows about it?

Wouldn’t surprise me to find that certain elements have had an affect on what’s going on, using the riots for their own means. Maybe far right, why haven’t many called for calm.

Macron is a wimp/gimp but not sure if the opposition getting in would be any better. Just a different sort of Russian influence.

"Acts of terrorism camouflaged by rioting and looting mayhem"
Terrorism is overt. It's a public action that a group takes responsibility for in pursuit of political goals. It can't be terrorism if it's camouflaged.
Whatever it is, it's awful and despicable.

I met a Chinese bloke in Vietnam the other day who said it's a nightmare for anyone to travel in China nowadays because of all the apps you need for everything, and that they're quite hard to get as a foreigner because you need a local number linked to your official ID and everything. Basically said that loads of places only take payment apps and even paying with cash can be a problem. How have you found it?
Further to my last post.
You can pay for goods and services via the WeChat app or Alipay app.
You only need one app. Ir applies throughout China.
I have been on WeChat for a few years, but as I say I use cash.
The WeChat app can be downloaded in the U.K. (my son has it), or anywhere else I suppose.
Wherever you stay in China you need to register with the local police. The hotel will usually pass your details across, so no worries there.
As I say China is very welcoming, adhere to the regulations/laws and don't get involved with the politics.
Their country. Their rules.
Enjoy your stay.
