Shorts in winter is the hallmark of a look at me im a roider/gym freak/need to show everyone I play rugby kind of bloke. Any or all of the above. Or crazy postmen. Full length attire is the friend of most people in cold weather, and long may it remain so. Shorts in summer, and for running and training in.
