Does seem slightly suspicious though that there was a good few bananas thrown. Thats what confuses me with all the racism, Arsenal prehaps have the most diverse fan base in the premierleague and have an awful lot of black players in their team.
The racist chant mainly coming from Arsenal was the Adebayor one, one Arsenal fan mentioned on here before that they have a new one for Arshavin but there ws definitly the Adebayor one sung by a number of Arsenal fans.

all i can say is to the gooners who kicked off is, remember your neighbours spurs, what makes you better than them? big sol got abused so have a good think about it? having said all this i think the media had a big part to play in the detonation of the incident! i have never heard as much crap come out of media, there was 4 of the most biased shit stirrers on sky i have ever witnessed saturday dinner? i also think that city have to start coming out fighting against these medeival minded intimidators? i know the papers have a job and a story to create but we have to start giving them some stick? ferguson would be giving them shit now and banning them from media meetings and interviews? this has been going on now for over a year now so i think it is time to come out fighting? everybody is worried about city now we have upset the cartel?

I'm convinced the bananas were thrown because they were the only thing close to hand. Arsenal have a diverse fan base. There was no racism or racist chanting.
Same line Adrian Durham came out with. How you can justify throwing bannanas at a black african player is completely beyond me. The racist song was sang on numerous occasions could clearly hear it where we were sat on the second tier one block over from the Arsenal fans. Everyone heard It I certainly wont repeat it here.
I really hope its the small racist minority that think the monkey chants and bannana throwing were acceptable, I thought we had moved on from this sort of behaviour 20 years or more ago.
A guy phoned in to Talksport and said to Adrian Durham he was being a bit racist and out of order saying the bananna throwing was acceptable, he cut him off and got really annoyed said he was a plank. Was calling him Steve the plank on the M25. Guy was just standing up and saying he was out of order. Shameful and distgusting.
