IMO half time should be at least 30 minutes. That would allow everyone to take a leak and buy a pie & a pint (rather than it being a choice of one or another).
If the halftime window were twice as long it would mean that less outlets employing less staff could serve more people and that should reduce both costs and prices if the clubs share the benefit with their supporters..
Added benefit would be that players carrying twinges from the first half could be better assessed (thus less serious injuries) and 2nd half tactics could be better refined and better explained so that we should see more tangible changes in fortune after halftime.
I'm all for it . . maybe as much as 45 minutes even.
