Whoever said over 50 was certainly exaggerating but like most exaggerations there is an element of truth in it. The US have had more military interventions in the 20th century than any other nation in the world.

And all of the above quoted were cast iron invasions of countries.

When you say "intervention", were they definately there for the purpose of occupancy or subjugation? For example, the UK had a military intervention in Kuwait in the First Gulf War, but the "invasion" not for the purposes of subjugation, but liberation.

Its not a competition to see who can prove anything. You are simply ignoring the fact that someone who finances, trains and provides armies to invade is an invader. Its like saying Bin Laden was not a terrorist because he has never blown anything up himself. That is baffling logic. If Americans are being deployed to train locals, arm them and provide support in wars against the local population. Then America is invading these nations even if it is done by the CIA they are doing it on behalf of America.

OP no because everyone has different religious beliefs I also dont think religion should be allowed in sport. It is always annoying to see people pray and bow lets leave that for our own space as your religion could be offensive to mine.

No you said invasion and then again describe something that is not an invasion. By your definition all countries are invading each other at all times. Also by your definition terrorist groups are now nations

And those places weren't always US states. Most of them listed were conquered from other countries.

Also, if we're getting testy about it, we can include Florida which Andrew Jackson conquered and continued his policy of genocide against the Cherokee (which you could also class as an independent nation).
