That's not a bad idea to me. You would have to increase wins to 6 points though if the aim is to simply diminish the value of a no-score draw. That way a win is still 3x a score draw.

well it would protect the integrity of the premier league (tongue firmly in cheek), cos we could have bought portsmouths 9 points off of them, thus saving them from administration.
