You clearly were not watching closely enough because in the first half he was superb.


It was his fantastic pass that set up milners goal and then he absolutely bust a gut to get on the end of milners cross which he did and that led to dzeko's goal. Had he not got there it would not have reached Dzeko.

Ultimately without his input we may not have won today. Yes he misse a
Chance and he should have scored and 2nd half he wasn't as strong but first 45 he was excellent.
 
I still think he'll join Boca when he's done here, and if he continues to play like he is doing, he'll go with the blessing of most Blues. He almost carried us in his first two years here, since then the relationship nearly capitulated but he's turned it around and he's a very different weapon for us now. As long as he never stops trying then his legacy, although tarnished by last year's antics, will be intact.
 
I imagine he'll go, and it is to be hoped he'll have more medals in his bag by then. His game s based on tempo and energy and that, alas, will wane.
