Should we keep our players from going on international duty?

as much as people say it's an excuse for Mancini, our players do look knackered at the moment so why don't we just tell the international managers where to get off, and rest for a week?

I can't remember the last time our team had a weeks rest.

maybe our whole team could come down with an illness with no symptoms, only to miraculously recover in time for the Sunderland game?

You think maybe the players want to go?An international cap means an awful lot to some players and you hear a lot that like to meet up and have the craic with mates. It is also a little taste of home for the foreign players.
Injuries can happen but thats all part of the game.

yes

ferguson has been doing this for years....claiming players are injured and then not sending them on interenational duty....

give the likes of tevez and others a few days off completely as well for a change of scenary.....

International duty might provide the players with a unique and valuable insight into what the other half of the field feels like and maybe give them the sensation of running quickly and passing forward. Of course this could backfire and cause unrest on their return although the England players should be okay.

Clubs cannot refuse player call ups.
Even if injured the players have to turn up to be assessed by the national squad medics.

Exactly.

We're above his cheating ways.

The highest honour for a player in any sport is to play for their country.
