The lad looks promising at CB. Should we loan him next season to hone his skills?

I think he should be given a chance in our first team next year. He's hardly got a run out this season in the centre and is completely wasted on the right. Who knows, he could be just the player we need next to Vinny.

get real will you, most foreign players have a bad first season in premiership. He looked a class player playing at fullback for Germany, who incidently are no mugs themselves

No.

Kompany, Lescott and Boateng with an older more commanding/experienced head would be excellent mix of centre backs. Even have Richards/Kolarov if things get really bad.

Boyata however needs game time and I fully expect him to come back the season after and establish himself.

He's a top quality CB. The Germans played him at FB for what reason I do not know, and I think on the strength of that MCFC bought him. It's good to have players who can switch even though they might not be top drawer in one of the positions. He will be found out just like most of our FBs up against a classy winger but I can't see us spending more money on the areas we have already shelled out.

If he is to go then he should go to a team that is going to be under the cosh all season. Give him summat to think about.

Not been given much of a chance (like milner) feel for the lad. I'd give him a shot at LB I know its not his natural position but he did a job for germany in the world cup and he cant be any worse than kolorov.
