Should we recall Joe Hart?

Im starting to think we should be. He has learnt so much at Birmingham and is largely responsible for their lofty league position. I want Joe to be our mainstay for years to come and not inevitably end up at appy arrys shit house of triffic players.

By bringing him back would also damage Birminghams season. I think Bobby should definitely be taking a closer look at Joe now.

We can't IIRC.

Typical city forgot to put the emergencies clause in.

we can't, it's a season long deal

Bollocks. Well that put paid to that idea. The vultures are circling now and if Joe doesn't think he is going to get first team football next year he will be gone. I await bentknapp and co to start there tapping shortly to make sure he knows he is wanted elsewhere.

Call me crazy but I would much rather have Joe Hart than Shay Given. Joe should be learning his trade here.

Why hamper Joe's future and World Cup chances by making him sit on the bench?

Ideally Joe would go on loan for another year or two before replacing Shay but I think the most likely result is us selling him to Brummie with a first refusal buy back clause in his contract.

Isn't that what blackburn did with given until flowers retired?

Not too sure I understand the logic in this thread. I've been pissed pretty much the entire last 5 days, but during that time I don't remember hearing about Given dying, which is the only real credible reason I could see why we would bring Hart back. The idea, mate, of him going on loan is to get him match practice and hopefully as a bonus, a flight to the World Cup. He is doing no better than Given, but probably just as good, which means we currently have 2 keepers' on our books who are currently, (areguebly), in the best 3 keepers' in the league. Keeping him at Brum is upmost importance.
