Should We Ship Richards?

Nope keep him and have some faith. He is a young lad, He is keen and in time he develop into a better player.

Also the Idea is to have a strong squad. Shipping out players just because they make a few mistakes is not the way forward.

Anyway 100% record and no gaols against say to me that things are getting better at the back.

I say keep him and get behind him
 
do you think we should get a world class right back and put richards on the bench that may up his game. or do you think he can do city a good job without bringing a new defender in?
 
Don't think he should be guaranteed a place in the side (he seems to have a golden pass), but I wouldn't be looking to sell him.

His value is probably as low as it's been since he broke through, I'd be looking to get that value up to where it used to be, if we can manage that theres probably not a lot of point selling.

I think that the old saying "rome wasnt built in a day" comes into play here. We need players like Richards to develop and learn which given time he will. Every player makes mistakes. The problem with getting a world class righ back is .... who's available? Maybe we should put the cheque book away and grow our own. The development of all our players in both the first teams and youth teams is important to the future of the club. Sitting a player on the bench wont help him.

Mmm that one puzzles me as well. Agree no point selling, but lets think more carefully about that position.
 
No chance! Him, Ireland, Ned and Weiss etc. are the family jewels and you never sell them, especially when you don't need the money!

OK I posted on this one too because the OP was pretty legible...
