Should we start playing the B team away

Put Silva in the womens team and we would have a chance against anyone. Hardly a B team with him in it.

That might work against Chelsea.

Terry would be too busy trying to shag our new centre forward so Silva would have all the time in the world on the ball.

B team? The only people missing were Yaya, Kompany, Negredo and Aguero. Whether you chose Nasri/Navas/Milner depends on taste and opponent and I bet that Pells will play DeMichellis ahead of Nastasic. So, that is 4 people missing from the first team. Yeah, it wasn't best team, but it wasn't a B team either, let's not get carried away.

I didn't expect much out of last night bar a little saving of some pride, and I must admit when I saw the two starting lists my heart sank, and sank even further after a quarter hour.

I doubt if anyone can put their finger on one or two crucial variables last night and come up with a definitive statement as to how we won, apart from scoring three to their two! How can you not play Aguero up front as first choice, how can you have a back four without Vinny and the midfield without Yaya. But last night, apart from the first quarter, it seems we can! But that's the mystery of football and what draws us back time and time again.

I thought suspect players like Dzeko and Garcia played fairly well last night. I don't think it was because it was a B team but the fact there was no pressure on the lads. That was the best game I have seen Garcia play and I think it was because he has the opportunity to adapt from the start rather than having to adjust his game in the last 10. However personally I think the lack of pressure on the team just lead them to play their natural game freely.
