Show of support planned before PSG and Chelsea games

People need to get down around 6pm-6.30pm. City will leave well before 7pm. They need to warm up, go through the game plan, etc. They aren't going to do that in under 1 hour. Most people are turning up from 5.30pm onwards. Which is a little bit early. But that's the advertised time.

Think this a a terrible idea but I guess each to their own. I totally understand it’s the biggest two games of the season but it smacks of the Dippers to me, why risk it - there is a pandemic, you are not allowed to congregate in large crowds, why risk giving our club bad coverage if something (and in all probability it will) goes wrong? A thrown bottle, a errant flare, rival supporters turning up… all of these could happen. Our club gets enough bad press why give them the opportunity to give us more and even worse if something does go wrong why give the authorities an opportunity to punish us more?

Am I reading this right. They get the coach from CFA to the stadium? By the time they all get in, seated and belted, they could have walked over the bridge, surely?
It's one of UEFA's rules that they have to arrive by coach.

Also, there are safety concerns for the players walking the best part of a mile to get into the ground when anyone could be knocking about.

Agree. Just not worth the hassle at present. Things are going well for us as they are, no need for any applecart tippage

Never thought about it until reading this. But yes, of course the safety element. I just presumed they walked, and that is what the purpose of the bridge is for.

I'm gonna go tonight. For some blues who are thinking of going:

- Wear a mask

- Try and social distance (or be conscious of those that do want to)

- DONT THROW ANYTHING AT THE PSG BUS OR YOU'LL MAKE US ALL LOOK LIKE TWATS

- Don't litter on sacred ground, take your empties with you.

- Most importantly: DO NOT WEAR YOUR ZEBRA PANTS.

The coach will come anytime between 6 and 6:45, but likely closer to 6. They usually set off from CFA 2 hours before KO.

Istanbul Istanbul we are coming!
Agree with everything apart from the zebra pants

What I'd like to see is hundreds of blues lining the route all social distanced.

What I expect is a load of City fans all grouped together with little or no care about social distancing.
You missed the bit about a few pissed up ones hurling abuse or worse at the PSG coach ("if the dippers can do it, why can't we?"). Even if it's only a couple and the rest are well behaved and respectful, you know what is getting shown on TV. Sorry - I'm out.
