Lets show the likes of Custis, Wright, Kia and the good "Dr", our 'appreciation' at tomorrow's game and give Gary Cook a fond farewell and thanks for all he has done for the club, i know he wasn't everyones cup of tea, but we can't let these bastards berate and belittle our great club.

Have you noticed that you're essentially a one man anti-Cook army with a few extras on the side?
 
Il be showing my appreciation to a man that has globally announced our club almost single handed, yes he had his downfalls but too me he was showing what passion he has for city. As for onouha and ur mum, sorry to say but I don't want u anywhere near our club or in the squad ever again!! I do not for one minute think the email was acceptable but IMO ur mum has given cancer sufferers a bad name by waiting nearly a year to let this story out and clearly only doing so for money!! She has played on the fact she has cancer to line her pockets!

FFS the knuckle draggers are out in force today. Its the team we should be behind not some jumped marketing spiv who's got the push for gross misconduct.

I think you'll find he resigned not got the push for Gross misconduct.... you think what you like though, its a forum and your entitled to your opinion, I for one Know Cookie personally and hes a top guy and embraced the cause with enormous passion and drive and with a business acumen that will be missed

Okay if your splitting hairs he jumped before he was pushed didn't want that he got the tin tack on his cv.

If he's got so much business acumen then you'd think he'd have had the sense to tell the truth rather than his intergrity be questionable as it is now.

thats you reading the sun ofcourse and believing what you read, maybe just maybe he misses his family as they still remain in the states and saw this as a way of not only letting the press run all over our beloved blues but a way to say goodbye on good terms without the press annihilation of an individual within City, we seem to do it ourselves!

That's it.

Tomorrow at the match I wont give the guy one thought and will be focussing on what is important - the team! Looking forward to who we get as the next CEO. Maybe a proper CEO this time, someone with a track record of success of being a sports club CEO.
 
You can tell with the message on the official site that the board were really sorry to let him go and that their hands were forced on the issue.

I for one would be over the moon to hear a couple of Gary Cook chants blasting from my TV.

If I was there in person I'd be lending my own voice but - alas - it's not to be. Do our club proud, guys.
