Show Your Appreciation

I like Cook, but at the end of the day, he fell upon his own sword. You can have a go at the press, Joorabchian, Onuoha, until the cows come home, but Cook only has himself to blame. Its not just because of the email he's out of a job, its the covering up, and the toting up of high profile gaffes that have cost him. He did a good job, but people are going way over the top, and acting like he's the messiah of the club. I have 100% confidence the owners will appoint the best man for the job. Lets just support the club, and move on from this episode.

Here is my thanks.

Garry

It was an absolute pleasure meeting you in January of 2009, when myself and Foe23 met you at City@home. The time you gave the both of us during our meeting was amazing, and i will never forget how warm and friendly you were with ourselves.
Your enthusiasm is infectious, and some of the things you entrusted with us, well i hope we kept our word.
I would also like to thank you for showing us that the sky isn't just the limit, al you have to do is put on a space suit and anyone can go alot further.

This resignation leaves me and Foe23 in a bit of a dilema, but as you taught us, a never die attitude will see us both succeed with our project and thanks again for helping us in our efforts.

All the best for the future.

'Thankyou Garry

I'd rather see a sign saying "COME ON CITY!"

Fuck everything else!

Ric was it during these meetings that you broke the news to him that we were not called Manchester United?

I don't buy the Sun but let's urge ALL City fans to boycott it.

Liverpool and Everton managed a boycott and bit the paper hard.

Why not here too?

Garry spoke about that, and he said it was the most regrettable thing he had done at City. He had joked about saying Manchester United before hand, saying something like he didn't think people would be happy if he got tongue tied. He believes his joke cost Uwe his night and he was actually gutted about it.

Garry also spoke of his time in New York, when he appeared on SSN saying City would be the biggest and best club in the world. As i thought at the time of that, the footage was only about 15 seconds long, when Garry actually sopke for 20-30 minutes.

The bottled it comment was sheer frustration at the way Milan had handled themselves during the whole Kaka affair.

Billy, he really was an amazing fella. First in the morning, last to leave at night. He even admitted to being a Birmingham fan, but told us because of the infectiousness of Manchester City it was hard not to become a fan. I think Garry will be back to see us from time to time and i hope he does keep an interest with City.

See ya!

That's it.

Tomorrow at the match I wont give the guy one thought and will be focussing on what is important - the team! Looking forward to who we get as the next CEO. Maybe a proper CEO this time, someone with a track record of success of being a sports club CEO.
is the correct answer.
