you can dress it up how you want, but the way Showsec handled the whole situation was an utter disgrace. an embarrassment. a complete shambles. a fuck up of laurel and hardy proportions. i witnessed it all from start to finish. it was ineptitude of the highest order. i will not be swayed on this opinion. the simple fact is showsec got quickly out of their depth, showed no common sense and exacerbated a problem which got out of hand far faster than they thought possible in their frustrated life as a plastic policeman. their saving grace was half of gmp's match days officers flooding the block. I've seen more common sense shown by three year olds at my daughters nursery.

I know that many will take the piss, but let's face it many have died in crowds over the past whether at sports event or concerts. I find it reassuring that someone is taking the safety of fans seriously.
