Shrek to miss Derby - Shame!!!!

I have two thoughts on Rooney:

1. The whole saga with him wanting to leave was a ploy by the club to raise interest to potential buyers. With him eventually staying and then playing in the derby and eventually coming out and saying how good he thinks United are.

2. There has been a compromise with Rooney and the club. The club have agreed to sell him and satisfy his desire to move to a club with greater ambitions but he was asked to sign the contract to allow them to sell him for more money when it happens in January.

Good shout on thought number 2..Hence respect for the club n' all that.

MUTV?
who would I even consider subscribing to that rag shite
If Sky gave you the option of removing channels from your channel list, that would be the first to be removed

PMSL, i have always thought that as well, i always make sure the controller doesnt get stuck on it when im scrolling

Hernandez is better than Rooney, the World's Biggest Mercenary, anyway.

I still have a feeling Shrek wont play for the rags again, and that they only offered him a new contract so that they can get more money for him when the transfer window opens
Slur Alex is ruthless

How does paying him £250,000 a week for 3 months make sense, and if he dont play why would anyone pay over the odds for an out of shape, unfit, naturally fat cartoon character[/quote]

As his value would have been somewhere near £10M in Jan as he could have bought himself out of his contract for £5M in the summer.

This would atleast make his value go back into the 30-40 category.

-- Fri Nov 05, 2010 3:55 pm --

He was getting close to the end of his contract
Apparently he could have gone next summer for next to nothing, (£8m)
Despite the fact that he is out of form, even we as City fans cant deny that when on form he is a class player
Even paying him the extra money til January, or maybe even summer, will pay for itself, cos as he now has a new contract he will cost more to buy, and even in his shite form he is going to fetch £20m
Fregie is not stupid, and he also wont let a scouse arse like Shrek get one over on him

They would of got £20 miilion in January anyway, thats my point so to me that means they want to keep him to the summer and then sell him but by then they be about £10 million down on wages and will probably get about 35 for him so 25 profit and they paid more than that for him when he was 18.
Its odd but finacially selling him after this new contract dont work out

No you have the wrong end of the stick.

It works very well financially if it is to happen.

I'm pissed off he's not playing!

:1st game back after 'rooneygate'
:His head still won't be right
:He's not 'match fit'
:The jury is still out on him with a lot of rags
:Hernandez seems to have hit a purple patch
:We could've played with his mind, by cheering him for unsettling the rags then booed him for being a rag ****, giving him the impression of schitzophrenia.
:The media spotlight would be off our bobby and beamed at him.

Fuck! get well soon wayne.
