Neither is the ground!Once got chased out of Woolies coffee shop on an away match. Dont think it's there any more though.
The Armoury by the river is nice if weather is good, you can sit outside. Maybe not in winter though!
Personally I like the 3 fishes also, old pub.
There's an excellently rude side street name in Shrewsbury too, can't remember it off the top of my head, but it's along the lines of back scuttle street.
Edit, it's grope lane. Seemed dirtier when I was pissed and in the company of giggling tarts
Admiral Benbow is a great pub but don't upset the landlady.Right outside the station, Tap & Can for craft.
In town, Loggerheads, Admiral Benbow, Nag's Head. your trad pubs. Good pubs south across the river too (Prince of Wales)
