The wife has just opened some mint matchmakers they are fucking tiny now, in fact not much bigger than matches, they really are taking the piss now, and yes I bollocked her they are for Xmas.

I remember when people used to call the yuletide festivities Christmas.
And then thanks to shrinkflation some lazy people decided to call it Xmas.
Typical idle bastards.

What gets me when all these companies make everything smaller or include less items! Yes have them but have the mega original from the 80’s like a box of roses have it in a massive tin with it full to the brim with chocolates just price it what it’s worth even if it’s 2/3 times more, people would still buy them! Wagon wheels make them twice as big mars bars make them massive! Just price them higher! What I hate is it all getting smaller for the seams price! Have a bargain basement one and a luxury one full or massive in size!

Global chocolate shortage going on due to climate change and trees getting hit by parasites etc.

talked to a chocolate maker the other week and there are suggestions there will be no ( or dramatically reduced ) natural chocolate in 10 years. What’s mad is the fact 1 cocoa tree only produces enough for 4/5 bars of chocolate.

When an American company bought Cadbury’s before they bought it they said they wouldn’t close the factory once’s bought a week later it was closed! They changed the recipe that now it’s so so poor! Americans hey all about the bottom line!
Cadbury's claim there is a glass and a half of milk in a bar of chocolate.

Years ago, their advertising made the same claim and it was, indeed, a glass and a half of milk, the same sort of milk delivered to your door in the morning which you poured in your tea and over your cornflakes.

That sort of milk wasn't good enough for the yanks, so now, they've removed the natural cream and replaced it with palm oil.

They just can't leave anything be.

If that’s the case, I will start to grow cocoa trees instead of cannabis plants.I won’t have the 80percent Lindt become extinct.

Bottles of Coca Cola in bars used to be 330ml and are now 237ml - big reduction in volume but same price.
