Sick of getting my arse kicked at FIFA 11 by my son -Help!

As the thread title suggests, I have finally had a gutful of my 11 year old lad whipping my arse at X box FIFA 11 and so I am turning to my bluemoon comrades for advice and assistance. At first he was pretty arrogant about it but now, much worse, he is patronising. He dribbles it out with his goalie to the half way line, showboats in a way that would even make mario blush, but still manages to whip me at least 8 nil. In fact I haven't scored a goal in the last 19 games.

He generously lets me play as city whilst he plays as some team from the norwegian 3rd division or other various hopeless joke teams. I still can't even get a shot on target. It can't be good for his development to so comprehensively humiliate the old man at such a young age!

I am about to just accept it as an inevitable process of growing up where the son realises the father is a bit of a joke, but I want to have one more crack before I hang up my metaphorical boots.

So this is a shout out to the younger BM crowd. Please- any advice would be greatly appreciated. You would also be helping the lad as there is no way I am getting the little bastard FIFA 12 if this keeps going on

I hung up my pixel boots when my son started getting close for exactly same reason, i knew his day would eventually come,so i retired unbeaten.Cruel i know.

this is what i do

me talking to son before game

for every goal you score you will be off the ps3 or xbox for an hour ,,,, my telly my house my rules ,,,,, take it or leave it

Get the ball to your best player and use RB to place your shots and you'll score every time. With City, that'd be Tevez. Seriously, anywhere in or around the box, use RB and you'll score.

bit of Jam in the left shoulder button on his pad should slow the little fucker down.

Seriously, when you get possession dont go straight for the throat. pass it round, make players do forward runs to drag defenders away, you dont have to pass to the runner everytime. and as above the old 1-2 works well on the edge of the box.
and tevez is shit hot at a counter attack if he runs wide then in an ark towards the goals

Bring the lad over to the park for a real kick about or even if you have a garden 2 goals 1 on 1 you kick his arse and give the large 1 like he does when he beats you at a game and see how he takes it. They dont like loosing but at times like this its extreme measures needed big it big time as well until he is nearly crying or freaked out and just retire from both football and Xbox.
