im absolutley gobsmacked about what you lot whinge at after every game, were all bloody city fans so why do we have to start stupid arguments with each other about stupid things! LET THE PLAYERS GET ON WITH IT
1) all the lescott threads..
Does anybody here who starts these insane threads about lescott know how to play centre half or realise how he does things well that proper centre backs do, you all expect him to come and score goals every 2 game slike he seemed to do with everton and expect him to hold out our defence by himself, this is premier league football and im sorry that doesnt happen. I watched him against carlton cole all night against West spam and today against jason scotland and yes they are both horrible players for centre backs to play against, strong and can hold a ball up. but he won every header he goes up for and does anybody see either of them two strikers turning him? he shows them back and pulls a midfielder in to deal with them after he has backed them off, he can play with a ball at his feet and in my opinion knows a pass when he sees it unlike dunney( no disprespect) PLEASE just let him get on with it and stop moaning.
2) who does eveyrbody seem to start off slagging off threads about every player or the team, anybdy care to think that teams need real time to gel, yes we did start off to a flier but this anyteam will have a game or two where they are off the pace and we have had two with this result and against villa, but remember with our team that we had under pearce we would of lost those two games by 3 or 4, we are so bloody lucky to have this team that we have at the moment and im pretty sure we wil have success this season, so please eveyrbody again get on with each other on the board and dont make pathetic picky theads about everything because you expect so much so soon after we have built an entirely new team basically.
The most important thing that hughes' signings have added is a winning mentality, and that will pull our team through the types of games we witnessed today more and more throughout the season
The only thing that is letting this brilliant season down is the pettiness of some fickle fans on here, if you dont have anything good to say, dont say it atall

Excellent post. My thoughts exactly. However; if you think tonight is moaning, call back after we lose a game. It really is an eye-opener to read some of the shit some of our "fans" come out with.

Good post. Some fans have had the notion since the end of last season and with the players who have been signed. everything else is just a formality. We will lose again. Get used to it. We will lose against a team we should on paper beat handsomely. That is the nature of football. But above all else, keep a sense of skyblue humour.

I totally agree, to be fair i have not follow city as long as you guys have, i only started in 2003 after going to a game (i am from New Zealand) and really liked the atmosphere and the fans and have followed every game ever since. I just don't understand it either, i mean what do people want? Us to go back by losing by own goals without the opposing team even having a shot on? I totally agree that different opinions are great, but to me some are just spiteful, do we really want to become like baconfaces followers? We have lost 1 game, had two draws, we drew against two teams that have beaten members of the so called 'big four' and we have a game in hand! To me a draw at wigan, after going down to 10 men is absolutely amazing with the amount of crap we have put up with in the past. I only just started posting on here after reading it for along time, and the change in attitude by the fans has been astounding, personally i think by the end of the year maybe 80% will be moaners.

It makes you laugh sometimes on here, we have just played the same two games that most peoples champions-elect Chelsea have, we managed to gain two points from two tough games against Wigan and Villa, where as they lost both, how the fuck that means we are nowhere near the so called top four I'll never know.
