I agree with that. If you watch Revista de la Liga on Sky, the level of punditry is far superior. You get genuine insight rather than the tired cliches you see on MOTD.
I couldn't agree more. They appear to be untouchable despite offering no real insight into anything whatsoever. Lawrenson has apparently accepted his role of panto dame, constantly firing off inane, shit quips that even Gordon Strachan would baulk at. His assertion that Mancini wouldn't have fancied today's wintry conditions as he is Italian was a very, very tired cliche and exposed his moronic ignorance yet again. He's an absolute grade A dullard.

Mostly agree. Although advertising crisps as a person who may be in a position to sway kids' opinions is pretty shitty, I think he comes across as a well-rounded bloke.

The whole programme is garbage. Same crap every year....such and such are five points ahead 'Champions for me, Al'. Lose the next week 'Their challenge is in ruins, Al'.
Scrap that, the entire media are a disgrace. There isn't anywhere you can go for interesting, insightful match reports. It's become a pantomime, a star studded soap opera. A most unedifying feeding frenzy, always more coverage, more sensation. Most of the reporting is actually about what's been said in previous reports, nonsense piled on top of nonsense. The pundits are rapidly descending to the level of the 3am girls, or the Soap Opera experts on This Morning, except that this lot really believe they are important figures, because they happened to be working at a time when the Premiership became a phenomena, and because 24 hour coverage, the web and bumper sports sections mean the demand for words (any words) on the subject just grows and grows.
As Alan Shearer would say, 'I done finished with that'.
They can all bugger off, and I'll watch every single game with the sound turned down, and start my own newspaper in my head.
Long term, I hope we kill the game entirely, make it unfashionable again.
