I wouldn't want the club to be paying an 'extortionate' fee for him , at his age , but yes , he'd be a pretty useful acquisition to the squad ........ although he obviously wouldn't get too many games in for us , and would play back-up for the majority of games.

At times yesterday i thought he looked absolute quality ..... but at other times he struggled a bit against an Arsenal side who moved the ball about with real pace and purpose.

For me, Yes

I think part of our problem this season was De Jong, Toure, Barry, Milner getting a run out in the FA and Carling cup early rounds.... Unless we have someone coming through the ranks that can be an able backup that adds to training the way he does, I say you bring him in for nowt knowing he'll play in 15 games in all comps next year to keep a few people a bit fresher for the long run!

As a squad player yes . But I don't know what to see from him half the time. One minute he will ping a ball the length of the pitch and set up an attack , and the next he will give the ball to Arteta for him to score the winner. But for a minimal fee I would take him, he's decent
