Sometimes Marv you have to look beyond the obvious....

We need a decent centre half, can't go into a season with only Vince and Jolene.

Always had the feeling that Dzeko will be gone by end of Aug, today only reinforced that view. In which case we'll be bringing in another striker.

I think Kolo is a good enough back up but not sure Mancini agrees, and I wasn't impressed with Savic again today so on that basis we need a centre half. Richards could fill in but he does appear to be picking up injuries on a regular basis. Rodwell fills a gap in midfield for now and so that only leaves upfront. I'd be happy to let Edin have until Christmas to see if he can be more consistent but his problem is breaking apart Aguero and Tevez.

The fact he played ahead of Kolo makes it look like he's gone.
