silva a waste of money?

Can't say I have seen much of him before but I was impressed how he got stuck in tonight, should be suited for the prem unlike other imports who fall over when someone farts near them.

i rated him high 2-3 years ago. he was in the first team when spain won euro 08.
since then i didn't see him improving much.
if milner cost 25-30 M, then 35 M for silva is fair.
 
On a serious note, if we pay Milner more than what we paid for Silva (25m); the people in charge of our negotiations are a joke.

18m + Ireland sounds more reasonable- since he wouldnt get a spot in our first team.
