Silva could make it

It would be foolish to play him within a week of even a minor strain.
We need to assume he is is not playing and prepare for this.
Chelsea have a talented fast midfield.
He is a big loss but we have time to prepare alternatives.

Baconface does this all the time, says someone's a doubt and next minute they're playing 90 mins. Don't worry, I think dave will be playing at Wembley!

Yeer like rooney the other night i thought he was out for it, but low and behold he's playing.. well i use the term "play" very loosely as he didn't really do alot... :P

I think David Silva will play on Sunday, He is a key player on Sunday but to be honest even if he's not fit I still think we will beat Chelsea, Samir Nasri will just have to step up and prove himself and give us a performance that we know he's capable of.

I agree with this summation. First and foremost I hope Merlin is fit and ready to weave his magic.

If not then Samir has to step up to the plate. He got the most almighty kick up the rear end from the Gaffer. Since then his form and general energy has, dare i say it, improved to about 70% of what he is actually capable of producing.

This weekend he HAS to produce a 100% effort. Without Merlin we will need it.

Come on Samir. We have seen glimpses recently. Nows is time to give it your all!

If Silva doesn't make it I agree with the above posts, I think Nasri had his best game for us against Chealski so lets hope he can do the same again
